A GOP Rally will be at the Majestian Horse Farm at 21750 19 Mile Road. Attending the Rally will be MIke Rogers, John Moolenaar, and Pete Hoesktra. We will gather across the street and hold up signs to PROTEST and Tell them that NOT EVERYONE is opposed to the Gotion Plant.

About the event

  • We stand for living-wage jobs to help alleviate the poverty in Mecosta County.
  • We stand for alternative energy - to counteract the heavy dependence on the oil industry directly causing climate change.
  • We stand for the partnership between FSU and Gotion to collaborate on battery technology.
  • We stand up for jobs for families - so our children don't leave the county for better-paying jobs - as there are not many in Mecosta County.
  • We have a need more folks with a living wage who will support stores and businesses - many which, are closing, - and keep our community vital.
  • We stand up for protecting the Muskegon River Watershed during the build-up of the plan through carefully looking at the permits that EGLE will be approving, with careful scrutiny of our environment.

WE ASK YOU to join us as we attempt to gather as many as possible in FAVOR of the Gotion plant.

We ask people to meet at 10:30 at Joe Percy's home (contact us for the address)  and then to catch a ride to the site.

THE MORE PEOPLE WE HAVE  - THE STRONGER OUR MESSAGE!   Please join like-minded people as we make a better community!
