Tickets are still available for the W.N. Ferris Virtual Benefit

We’re counting down the days until Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, a progressive activist and 2018 Michigan Gubernatorial primary candidate, will be speaking with the Mecosta County Democratic Party as a part of the annual Woodbridge Ferris Dinner and fundraising event on October 22, 2021.

We will also be joined by Wendy Nystrom, the current 6th District of Mecosta County Commissioner, Anthony Feig, the candidate for the 2nd District of the U.S. House of Representatives, Amanda Siggins, the candidate for the Michigan House District 102, and Big Rapids Mayoral candidate, Jennifer Cochran. We’re also honored to have a message from U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow.

Although the format is different this year, we are so glad to be having an event! We missed you all during the 2020 year. The COVID-19 pandemic, that we continue to work through, certainly derailed not only our annual event, but also all of our lives. Although we had hoped to meet in person this year, we have decided to do a virtual dinner out of an abundance of caution and an eye toward what late October in Michigan can be like.

Although this event is in a different format and we won’t be sharing a meal together, there is the benefit of being able to have an enhanced question and answer opportunity with Dr. El-Sayed. You’ll find a place on our Facebook page to ask questions of El-Sayed. You will only know if they answered your question if you attend!
